Resources for public faithfulness
Although the Global Faith & Work Initiative works with organizations and churches around the world, many of our constituents are in the U.S. and so it is with deep sorrow that we reflect on the events of last week. Our faith and work movement has always been about how the love of Christ compels us to examine our own hearts, love our neighbors sacrificially and work for our world to be more reflective of the principles of truth, love, equality and justice that Jesus died to bring.
Please join alongside other Christians as we pray for:
A peaceful transition of power on inauguration day in the United States
The people of God to repent of political idolatry and nationalism and instead represent God’s character as agents of Christ’s peace.
Healing across political and ethnic divides in ways that lead to repair and justice for the vulnerable and marginalized in our cities.
